Alanoud Bader- Remember this name because I assure you it wont be the last time you hear it.
Founder of Dubai based blog FashionGossip10, stylist and consultant. The Saudi beauty can now add fashion designer to her long list of achievements. Ms. Bader recently launched her statement blazers, which since then have been making headlines and gaining the attention of local and international fashionistas.
A little about the Blazers-The Collection of Blazers are based on REAL women in all their glory.
A blazer to fit each personality and a FIT to capture the essence of being a Beautiful woman of STYLE, elegance and uniqueness!!
The materials used depend on the season and include textures from chiffon to silk, from jersey to velvet, and from metallic to sequins. Badr aims for women wearing her blazers to feel powerful, confident, and rulers of fashion. “My blazers are little divas; they demand attention and they get it,” she said. “My signature is in the shoulder pads, which give power and are almost a simulation of wings to take you to your dreams. I think anything is possible if you believe, and I believe we, women, are capable of more than what we set ourselves for, so never sell yourself short,” she added.
While I knew how big the blazers were in Dubai, I didn't expect to see them on my TV screen here in US in such a short time of their release. A couple of weeks ago I was home watching a movie. During the commercials, a Recycling PSA came on and BAM! I see Kourtney Kardashian in the same Fozaza 'Sheera' her sister Kim wore in NYC. I jumped up in excitement reaching for my phone to capture the picture for Alanoud.
Sorry about the blurry pic, I snapped it in hurry with my blackberry |

Wondering where the name "Lady Fozaza" came from?
“Fozaza is a nickname I used to give to my aunt, who passed away years ago from cancer. Her name was Fawzia and she was everything to me. She was a big fashion influence and a designer in her own right,” said Badr. “My logo says it all: I called my line Lady Fozaza, because she taught me to always be one, and the wings on my logo represent freedom of creativity and expression. The two elephants symbolize family, because elephants are very spiritual creatures and they remain with their families for life – from father to mother to grandfather and grandmother and babysitters,”. Rest In Peace Auntie Fawzia. Am sure she is looking down on her niece with a smile on her face.
I love every single one of the Fozaza Blazers and am currently saving up for one. I narrowed it down to these four DROOL worthy!
“If there is one style I can always fall back on, it’s the ‘blazer and jeans’. A woman who wears Lady Fozaza blazers, is confident, fearless and independent.. a woman who is at her core.” –Alanoud Badr.
