Michael Kors A/W 2012

Rugged elegance was Michael Kors's theme for A/W '12, showcasing an array of luxurious fur, blanket stripes, polished plaid, and languid sequin gowns. Staying true to his refined classics aesthetic, Kors delivered a collection filled with nostalgic winterwear remixed with an opulent and modern twist. Buffalo and tartan plaid were paired with leather and lace, while a wool herringbone dress was updated with an ombré feathered effect. Kors held nothing back when it came to statement fur; from sleeveless Mongolian vests to crimson stadium coats, textures were in full force.

Diane Von Furstenberg A/W 2012/2013

Diane von Furstenberg showed her Autumn/winter 2012/2013 collection yesterday during New York Fashion Week. DVF offered the fashion world vivid colors, color blocking and kitschy handbags for the cool weather season. The overall collection was playful and offered prints with designs such as keyholes, hearts, puzzle pieces and handprints.

 Qing Dynasty China met old Hollywood glamour at Jason Wu's A/W 12  collection, which debuted on Friday in New York Fashion week.

 Wu offered a luxurious collection filled with intricate embroidery patterns and details. Combining decadent fabrics with sophisticated silhouettes and paired them with classic handbags as well as tiny formal clutches for the cool weather season. 

The collection was predominantly black and red. The fabrications were luxurious and included silks, velvets and leathers. The designer used classic, lady-like silhouettes in his collection and modernized them through intricate details such as embroidery.
