Gracing the cover of Flare Magazine Canada for the July issue is the beautiful Canadian Actress Elisha Cuthbert. Ohh how I love the turquoise back ground....Summer has Arrived!!

 The 28 year old was photographed by Chris Nicolls and styled by Elizabeth Cabral, Elisha Cuthbert rocks a beautiful sleeveless nude dress by Herve Leger by Max Azria while sporting colorful statement earrings by Mawi and fuchsia lips.

Topshop A/W 2011 Collection

Topshop unveiled its Much-Anticipated catwalk-inspired collections for next season.
The Collection consists of four Themes: Glamrock, Thrift, Bavaria, & Psychobilly.

Inspired by the 70s, the Glamrock line includes casual garments given the luxe treatment. With accessories like glitter ankle boots and velvet clutches with a color palette of emeralds and magentas.

Thrift is made up of vintage inspired pieces combining the 60's Fashion with post-war 1940's.  The Collection is made up of Lady-like tea dresses and Peter Pan collar blouses.

The Bavaria collection is a folklore-inspired line, with a color palette of Heavy velvets and detailed embroidery.

The Psychobilly Trend was bound to hit the high-street.

Lanvin Petite Collection Unveiled!!!

              Mini Fashionistas around the world rejoice! 


Last night in New York City Alber Elbaz, Lanvin's creative director revealed Lanvin's first childrenswear collection, "Lanvin Petites".
A capsule collection of 25 pieces for girls ages four to ten, the collection is made up of dresses, separates and coats in luxurious fabrics, such as washed organza embroidered with crystals, satin ribbon and grosgrain, and draped or pleated tulle, reflecting the sumptuous detail of Lanvin's ready-to-wear adult collections.

                           

Inspired by the brands creator, Jeanne Lanvin and her close relationship with daughter, Marguerite, the collection also features selected accessories; patent leather Mary Janes and satin ballet shoes with tulle pom poms or bows come in scarlet, black, cream and forest green; beaded necklaces strung with corsages come in navy and black colourways, with tulle and rhinestones.

The collection will hit selected Lanvin boutiques worldwide in November. 
More time to save up that Tooth Fairy Money :)


And For those of us that have no chance squeezing into the fabulous dresses can maybe settle with one of the Four exclusive rag dolls, dressed in the collection, from which part of the proceeds will be donated to the charity Designing Hope.

Flower of the Day- Kinda Hibrawi

Kinda Hibrawi is a Syrian- American Painter based in LA.

Born to Syrian parents in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and grew up between Bahrain, Beirut and Massachusetts, before moving to Southern California.  
Through her studies she began to expand on the ancient tradition of Arabic Calligraphy by giving it a modern twist. As an Arab American, she felt the need for her artwork to reflect the richness of the Middle East coupled with Western diversity.

In 2010 Kinda made her art come to life when she teamed up with the United Nations UNRWA to create the "BUY A TEE, HELP A REFUGEE".
 This original Arabic Calligraphy Tee Collection was designed to promote peace and understanding through the positive message that each shirt represents. By wearing them, you join the movement to help change the world one shirt at a time.  

Proceeds from this collection will support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency's (UNRWA) Adopt a school Program in Gaza.  Adopt a School is an ongoing campaign aimed at overcoming the negative effects on children of prolonged conflict and poverty, and increasing the quality of education at UNRWA schools in Gaza.

The shirt's are American Apparel 100% Sheer Jersey cotton construction. Cap sleeve, boat neck, and with hand thrown sugar crystals in the front, the English translation of the character is on the back.

Kinda's Next Project will be continuing with the Arabesque shirts and to possibly design scarves and handbags, in collaboration with handbag designer Dareen Hakim.
